The Closing of a Chapter

The big news this week is that Wes completed his work with Enterprise. Friday was his last day, after over two years of working for them. It’s a scary feeling to be without work but we look forward to Wes going back to school. For those of you who don’t know, Wes is going back to school to get a Master Degree and become a Physician’s Assistant. Yes, I really am going to be married to “Doogie Houser”. Good thing I loved that show growing up and I had a crush on him. Because Wes had a half day Friday and Saturday off we've been doing lots of things as a family. We went to the Anthem Outlet Mall and Halle had a good time playing at the splash park. She's never been a big fan of the splash park. Maybe because it's so unpredictable and you never know when some water is going to come shooting up in your face. But she finally enjoys it now. It's another thing that reminds us what a big girl she is becoming.

Halle loves to go on dates with her dad to get drinks. Thanks Wes for being a great Dad!

First, Halle loves parties and I was feeling bad that we didn't have any Birthday's coming up so we decided to have an Olympics Birthday Party. Second, we have loved watching the Olympics and are really going to miss it. We made party hats and brownies and sang Happy Birthday to the Olympics. Halle loves blowing out the candles and so we sang twice. Bye Olympics:(

We went to the Deer Valley Airport and watched the planes take off and land. Halle loves Airplanes and takes pride in saying goodbye to all the planes and encourages them all to have a good flight. By coincidence they are all going to Grandma's house. I guess it makes sense, that is where she goes on airplanes, so why not?

We've had a nice few days with Wes and are sad that tomorrow he has to go to school but we look forward to this new chapter of our life, "Back to School".

Your grandma told me that Wes is going back to school...how fun! She said that you guys have it set up pretty well too. Wes will do such an amazing job as a PA. He is so good with people and takes good care of them.

Cute Olympics party! What a fun idea. Caysja loves blowing out candles too. Luckily while we were home, Caleb's mom had her 60th b-day so she got to "help" her blow them out. Good luck to Wes!
