Letter to Parents
Each year my parents ask us to write a letter telling of a way we served during the Christmas Season. Here is ours for this year...
Dear Dad and Mom-
This year the Holiday spirit came into our hearts as we delivered a Christmas tree and trimmings to a family in our ward. They recently moved to California from Canada with their three small kids and 5 suitcases. While they spent the last few months gathering beds and a table, their apartment was still sparse and had no Christmas decorations. It was so fun to ring the doorbell and have the three kids run up to the door with such excitement. As soon as we put the boxes down the little kids were going through looking at all the pretty things. As we left the oldest boy yelled out, “Merry Christmas!” I was so happy that I noticed they didn’t have any Christmas decorations because sharing ours with them really made our Christmas this year.
Love,
Wes, Alissa and Halle Morris

what an awesome tradition--we'll have to start that one, too!
we're hoping to move to a place where we can afford housing, too. who knows when or where, though. how exciting! but i'm sad that we never could make it down there to visit! we seriously tried several times, and nothing ever worked out. good luck with all the packing and everything--wish i could help!
What a great thing to do at Christmas time! That's so awesome of you guys.
It was fun to see you at the park and get to talk today! We'll have to do it more often (even if we are the only ones that go to playgroup)!
